Course Description
Students learn a variety of basic to advanced skills in aesthetics and nail technology from a spa and clinical aspect, including: LED Therapy, Micro-dermabrasion, Micro-current Therapy and makeup artistry. Rarities in current aesthetics training, such as in-depth training on hydrotherapy body treatments and aromatherapy and herbal preparation, also are critical course components. Additionally, students will gain a full knowledge of business development skills, cross-training in technical skills and modernized theoretical education. Hands-on experience is provided through client service opportunities.
This combined multi-licensing training - not available through other basic aesthetics programs in the region - prepares students to pass the state licensing exams for aestheticians and nail technicians. This industry-first program will prepare graduates to maximize their success and marketability in a beauty and wellness industry that now favors those with multiple disciplines.

Through the N.T.C.A. program, students are eligible for advanced education in Aromatherapy Level I and to earn certification in Microcurrent Technology and Hydrotherapy.
